Why are people offended by the union jack who moved/live in Great Britain?
These people moved here of their own freewill and were surely in the knowledge of what the national flag is on these islands, so why on earth would they feel offended by the union jack flag?
There are laws governing the flying of the flag of the union and they are called flag-days. Flag-days are specific occasions,especially to mark certain circumstances or occurrences and out of respect for the flag it should be only flown at such times. Also it's regraded as disrespect to the flag if it isn't lowed and sunset,but held at full mast at night. The flag should be raised at sunrise and lower at sunset. The only flag waving that offends me is seeing Jack being waved by a bunch of lager-louts at a European football match, while the local police are making baton charges against them, but then I'm probably not the only one.
