Why are whites so judgemental and stereotype blacks sooo much?
If you all are so damn open-minded and educated and "cultured", why do you look so scared when you see a bunch of black people sitting in the back of the bus? Why do you look at us only from the corner of your eyes when you think we can't see? Why do you white ladies clutch your purses closer to you when I walk past you (don't TELL me that doesn't happen, it happens all the fkn time). I'm sick of feeling like I'm a violent, gangster, menace to society. Most likely, I'm more educated than you -- I'm currently doing my Ph.D. in Biochemistry -- but I'm also black and I like to dress how I like to dress, speak the variety of English I grew up with among my friends, and listen to hip hop, reggae, and r&b music.....why do my black friends and I scare you soooo much....don't you realize that you don't friggin know me???? You don't know how much your ignorance angers me and how hurtful it is.
because black people have made a reputation for themselves as being street thugs, purse snatchers, gangsters, and etc. not only that, they seem PROUD of that stereotype. now you might be the acception, but even you have to admit that the inner cities are the most dangerous places in america. and what race is the cause of that?
