Is this an authentic louis vuitton cherry blossom?
I was bidding on this bag and lost at the last min. however the person who won the item had 0 feedback and the seller required that the buyer have at least some sort of feedback and so she offered me a second chance offer to buy the bag...but i am no expert in the cherry blossom collection...can anyone help me out? its on ebay and the item number is 230240412256...i would buy it new, but as you know this is a discontinued line...help please thanks a lot!!! i dont really like to purchase used lv bags but this style is discontinued so this is the only way to attain one...:-(
You should be thankful that you lost! The item is not authentic - The leather is not only the wrong color and texture, but the straps are not the correct thickness. The brass studs on the exterior of the bag are the wrong shape and size. The monogram and cherry blossom print is all inaccurately colored. If you look closely, you can even see that some of the stitching is uneven and wonky. The lining, oh the lining, very poor imitation leather. Even the lock and keys are the incorrect finish, keys are the incorrect cut and the LV engraving is sloppy! You are best to buy Louis Vuitton items from the boutique, well-known reseller or from an eBay member with a good reputation. If you are ever in doubt of authenticity - Visit The Purse Forum.
